How to check a reefer container’s temperature?

A reefer container’s temperature is checked via its built-in display panel on the cooling unit. Most show set point, actual temperature, and run hours. Modern units log temperature data every minute to a USB or cloud app. For long trips, drivers check temperature every 4 hours or use remote monitoring.

Did you know?

Modern reefer sensors can measure temperature to fractions of a degree. For some cargoes, the challenge is not reaching the target temperature but proving that it remained stable throughout the journey.
